Death Stranding trailer:
Hideo Kojima said players dont die in this game we can explores the themes of life and death and it’s for this reason that Kojima would like to explore the traditional death mechanic in games and let players know that in-game death isn’t the end for them when it happens. This might be something different from other action games atleast we dont have to restart everytime we die.
You can see weird type of time rain in above trailer wondering what it might be- Kojima explained its called a Timefall strange kind of rain that has an effect on time and plays a big role in game’s storyline.
Check the tweet below by Kojima stating what he thinks about a game:
People have created “Walls” and become accustomed to living in isolation.“Death Stranding” is a completely new type of action game, where the goal of the player is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society. It is created so that all elements, including the story and gameplay, are bound together by the theme of the “Strand” or connection. As Sam Porter Bridges, you will attempt to bridge the divides in society, and in doing create new bonds or “Strands” with other players around the globe. Through your experience playing the game, I hope you’ll come to understand the true importance of forging connections with others.
Hope we get to play it in PC soon.
