Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Gets a Remastered Version

Criterion Games Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit released in 2010 was the popular hit title is all set to make a “Remastered” comeback next month to PC and Consoles. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is scheduled for release on  PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 6th and Nintendo Switch on 13th November.

The remastered version of the game is said to have an upgraded visual for latest hardware technology. The game will also support cross-platform multiplayer so you can play with your friends to irrespective of platform.

The core concept of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will remain unchanged in the Remastered version. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered comes with all the DLC released for the original game as well as an updated photo mode and brand-new achievements says the Verge.

Players will be able to enjoy a game in different frame rates including 4k depending on the platform. The game runs in 1080p at 30fps on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, while PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X players can run the game at 1080p 60fps “performance mode” and a 4K 30fps “fidelity mode.” Pc gamers can run the game in 4k max 60fps.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was developed and published by Criterion Games and Electronic Arts respectively. This studio is also behind the remastered version of 2018’s Burnout Paradise Remastered.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will cost $39.99 ( ₹2,925 approx) on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and $29.99 ( ₹2,194 approx) on Steam and Origin.
