Minecraft unveiled the new “Caves and Cliffs” update, 1.17 during Minecraft Live 2020. The upcoming new update will release in mid-2021.

Minecraft 1.17 Update “Caves and Cliffs” might release next year in mid-2021. As the title says, it focuses on Caves and Cliffs. Lush Cave is going to be the newest biome added to game.
A new Minecraft biome will be added in-game. The options were between the Glow Squid, Icologer, and the Moobloom. Glow Squid could be the next new mob to be added in Minecraft 1.17.
