Yakuza: Like A Dragon is traditionally a PlayStation-exclusive series and PS5 release date is finally out now.
The most anticipated next-gen console of 2020 Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is all set to launch in November. Developers also revealed their respective titles for upcoming next-gen consoles. Yakuza: Like A Dragon, launch title for Xbox Series X will also launch on PS5. Release date of Yakuza: Like A Dragon for PS5 has been announced. The game will be available for PlayStation 5 on March 2, 2021.
Sega announced buying PS4 version digitally will also grant you access to PS5 version once it’s launched. However, Yakuza: Like A Dragon will launch on November 10, 2020, for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While PS5 players have to wait a bit longer to enjoy the game on a next-gen console.
Microsoft’s Xbox Smart Delivery is also applicable for Yakuza: Like A Dragon; that mean you don’t have to buy another copy for next-gen consoles. Buying the game on Xbox One will get you the Series X version automatically. It also supports cross-save; means you can continue the progress on Series X from Xbox One console.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is eighth instalment in Yakuza series, published and developed by Sega. It is a battle game that features turn-based RPG type combat with a four-person squad. The game features other characters including Namba, Koichi Adachi, and Saeko Mukouda. Also, features a new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga, who is much more outspoken and emotive than Kiryu(main protagonist) – says Sega.
The new dynamic battle type gameplay sounds interesting with mouth opening gameplay trailer. This game by Sega may turn out to be a huge success once released for next-gen consoles.
