PUBG Mobile Ban Cancelled?– After Change in Privacy Policy

PUBG Mobile is the best mobile game on Android and iOS devices with an enormous fanbase in India. Almost every third Indian guy plays PUBG mobile. Millions of Indian players daily login to jump on the 100 player Battleground and survive for chicken dinner. The news of PUBG getting banned is hottest trend that has created uproar on Internet. Indian gaming community, content creators and esports organizers are stunned and worried as they may face a huge loss too.

Indian government recently banned 47 Chinese apps, following the ban of 59 major Chinese apps on PlayStore including TikTok, Shareit and many others, etc.

Recently, Indian Government reviewed 275 Chinese apps that may eventually get ban. All these apps are said to cause a threat to the national security and privacy of the citizens of India. Tencent’s PUBG mobile is under major threat as it’s the next Chinese app that’s under the radar.

Will PUBG Mobile Get Ban?

So far now, every Pubg players was worried about the ban until PUBG mobile took a step to make a few changes in their privacy policy to ensure the safety of Indian players to Government.

Recently, every Indian PUBG Mobile player received a notification from PUBG Mobile about their changes in Privacy Policy, “To answer some questions regarding this, we update our user privacy policy from time to time to reflect our current privacy practices. These updates are intended to make the user privacy policy easier to understand and to give more transparency about how we process your personal information.”

The changes in PUBG Mobile privacy policy according to the requirement of Indian Government have likely saved PUBG Mobile now. Changes in Privacy policy ensure that the user data will remain on Indian servers. User will have a full transparency and control over their data as they can contact PUBG Mobile officials in case they want access or erasure of their personal data.

However, there’s no confirmation about the PUBG Mobile being banned in India. But official are trying their best to save the game also developers can file a complaint to unban, because it doesn’t violate the requirements of Indian government.
