Sony announced a rescheduled date for PS5 game event again. The event was originally set to roll out on 4th June but postponed because of George Floyd’s death and protests against racism across the globe. The company was planning for this event since long but delayed, unfortunately.
The new rescheduled date of the upcoming PS5 event is on 11th June, Thurday at 4PM ET/1AM IST. Sony promises to showcase the best PS5 games in this event on Thursday. You can expect the event to be an hour or more long.
A senior director for Sony Interactive’s Content Communications, Sid Shuman said “The games you’ll see on Thursday will look even better when you play them on PS5 with a 4K TV, as you’d expect,” in a blog post.
Sid also recommends everyone to wear headphones during the event for better experience, said  “there’s some cool audio work in the show, and it might be harder to appreciate if it’s pumped through your phone or laptop speakers.” We can expect something big coming up on 11th June.
“The games coming to PS5 represent the best in the industry from innovative studios that span the globe. Studios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established, all have been hard at work developing games that will showcase the potential of the hardware,”  Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment in a previous blog post.
Sony plans to tease us with few details about the upcoming next-gen console PS5. However, not much details are expected to be revealed on 11th June. But Sony said they planned more events for coming weeks and months. Hope we get details on them soon.
Fans and gamers are all hyped up to see what’s coming. We already got our hands on Sony PS5 logo, specs and amazing new Dual sense PS5 controller. PS5 console is still a mystery. Hope we get a hint about it more on Thursday, June 11. Stay Tuned.
