The launch of highly anticipated game of 2020 has started breaking records and figures are increasing day by day. The Last US 2 becomes the fastest selling PS4 exclusives dominating other top PlayStation games like Marvel’s Spiderman, Uncharted 4 and God of War. Sony reveals, Last of Us 2 sold 4 million copies within three days of launch. They announced the game has already surpassed the numbers of its original title in same time period.
The last of US 2 released on 19th June and tailed around 4 million players/customers until June 21. The sale is recorded as highest of all time, said Sony. This survival title has already achieved a huge milestone during the pandemic and records are still going to break soon. According to reports, Spiderman and God of War sold around 3.3 million copies in 3 days of launch.
The Last of Us Part II also beats the record of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A thief’s end (2016) sold 2.7 million copies in first week. Last of Us 2 stands out as best game by Naught Dog, becoming one of the most successful games in the market. It’s the most popular game played currently and the financial success of Sony is a great example for that. Since the launch of Part II, fans are still wondering whether we will encounter Last of Us III or not.

Naught dog is quite excited about the success of Last of US Part II and may return with next title in Uncharted series. However, no official new have been announced yet.
Druckmann also revealed they’re currently working on HBO TV Shows based on The Last of Us and an Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg is also in the works. Stay Tuned for more updates.
