Apple TV Launches for First Time on Xbox and Next-gen Console

A piece of good news for Xbox owner and Apple TV user.

Apple TV is the fastest growing media service by Apple with a range of original productions and TV shows. The company has been constantly trying to expand its reach on other platforms, and its finally arriving for First Time on Xbox and Next-gen Console soon next month.

Apple TV will hit the Xbox console for the first time along with the launch of Xbox Series X and Series S. It’s been a year since the launch of Apple TV, and now the company has made their way onto Xbox and next-gen consoles. Apple TV app will be available from Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S consoles on November 10th, allowing access to the library of movies and shows.

Apple TV users and fans can grab the services directly from their Xbox console now regardless of Apple TV box or a supported television set. Apple TV services will also be available for SONY PS5 on 12th November 2020, the launch date of the PS5 console.

Microsoft confirmed other popular media apps like Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Spotify, YouTube, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, NBC Peacock, Vudu, FandangoNow, Twitch, Sky Go, NOW TV, Sky Ticket, and more will be accessible on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles from November 10th. Xbox next-gen consoles support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos which work in other major streaming apps like Netflix, Disney Plus, and Vudu.

Apple TV is already available on other platforms like Amazon TV and Smart TVs. The launch of the app on next-gen consoles may boost the subscriber base of Apple TV+. Apple TV paid subscription service costs $4.99 a month that offers exclusive movies and shows.
