CD Projekt’s Cyberpunk 2077 is the most anticipated title of 2020. The game was in development since long and scheduled to release originally on April 17, 2020. Unfortunately, the game got delayed again to September 17. Fans have been longing for this game since last year. CD Projekt delayed it until September, because developers needed more time to “finish play testing, fixing, and polishing,” said officials.
CyberPunk 2077 Delayed
According to a recent announcement, CD Projekt’s Red dystopian title ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is delayed once again until November 19th. Developers shared an official announcement on Twitter says; CD Projekt needs some extra time to go through everything, balance game mechanics, and fix a lot of bugs.
CD Projekt confirmed the game is technically finished, with all the quests, cutscenes, skills, items, and functionality in place. But they still need an extra time.
The game is in development since last 7 years, atleast from 2013. The news disappointed many of the fans who were desperately waiting for it. CyberPunk 2077 release date already delayed by five months to September, and now we have to wait until November to play this title.
The developers are trying to push the launch along with Next-gen consoles this year. This could be the reason as CDPR wants port Cyberpunk 2077 to next-gen. Yeah, the game is also releasing for next-gen consoles.
A mulitplayer component was also about to launch after the initial release of tile will be indirectly delayed until next year now.
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world game with great story-line and high-tech weapons, gadgets all packed in one futuristic game that draws an inspiration from Blade Runner. The game features Keanu Reeves. Reeves plays a character named Johnny Silverhand who’s embedded in a bio chip that’s placed in the main character’s brain.
Story takes place in dystopian Night City, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the role of the customizable mercenary V in a first-person perspective, with skills in hacking and machinery, an arsenal of ranged weapons, and options for melee combat.
