Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated titles of 2020 and an upcoming open-world action game. The game has been delayed several times by CD Projekt Red and is finally set to launch on December 10.
CD Projekt Red stated the reason; shipping the game on PS4/Pro, Xbox One/X, and PC, alongside next-gen versions for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Stadia, has been a challenge, especially under work from home conditions. Hence, the game is delayed until December.
Recently, developers revealed the details about upcoming DLC of Cyberpunk 2077. Adam Kiciński, president of CD Projekt Red said, they were planning to launch the DLC initially but considering the delay and situations, the more details of the game will reveal after 10th December including DLCs.
“We decided to wait for the release to provide gamers with the game and then start talking about future projects,” said Kiciński. They also mentioned the Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer mode which is most likely to arrive in 2022. We’ll share our thoughts about it next year once we will update our strategy,” said Kiciński.
Cyberpunk 2077 features Keanu Reeves. Reeves plays a character named Johnny Silverhand who’s embedded in a biochip that’s placed in the main character’s brain. The story takes place in dystopian Night City, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the role of the customizable mercenary V in a first-person perspective, with skills in hacking and machinery, an arsenal of ranged weapons, and options for melee combat.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on December 10. Next-gen versions for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 will release soon.
