2020’s most anticipated CD Projekt’s Red dystopian title ‘Cyberpunk’ was in development since long and scheduled to release originally on April 17,2020 is delayed now.CD Projekt recenty announced about the news, but the game’s still available for pre-order,will launch on all the platforms Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia.
CD Projekt Red wrote : “We are currently at a state where the game is complete and playable, but there’s still work to be done.Night City is massive–full of stories, content, and places to visit, but due to the sheer scale and complexity of it all, we need more time to finish playtesting, fixing, and polishing. We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our crowning achievement for this generation and postponing launch will give the precious months we need to make the game perfect.”
The fans are disappointed,as the release date delayed by five months to September.CD Projekt’s chief executive Adam Kicinski says “We try to limit crunch as much as possible, but it is the final stage. We try to be reasonable in this regard, but yes. Unfortunately,”when questioned “Is the development team required to put in crunch hours?”
With the Game being ready to Play Kicinski says “the game is so detailed that polishing is a complex task and we’ve number of things to take care of rather than some fundamental problem.”he went on explaining “technical bug-fixing and polishing.” are the major cause of delay.
According to Kicinski, delay is a good decision by team “It’ll provide us more time to polish and deliver the perfect game”
The game features Keanu Reeves. Reeves plays a character named Johnny Silverhand who’s embedded in a bio chip that’s placed in the main character’s brain.Story takes place in dystopian Night City, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the role of the customizable mercenary V in a first-person perspective, with skills in hacking and machinery, an arsenal of ranged weapons, and options for melee combat.
Release date of game is delayed to September 17,2020.
