The Biggest Fortnite event “Fortnite World Cup 2020” is cancelled because of Covid-19.

The entire world is in a lock down state because of Corona outbreak, which has led to cancellation of many such events. However, the world is rapidly trying to adapt digitally as much as it can.

Epic Games announced the changes in Fortnite 2020 Competitive series also reveal the cancellation news of the biggest event Fortnite World Cup event. Unfortunately, Fortnite World Cup 2020 will not proceed “due to the limitations of cross-region online competition,” reads the tweet from Epic.

According to Epic Games, the in-person tournament also may not be possible looking at the crisis right now. However, it will be conducted online but no more details have been revealed now.

“We don’t know when a return to large, global, in-person events will be practical, but we’re hopeful to be able to put on some form of Fortnite World Cup in 2021,”

The Cash Cups tournaments and online Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS will be organized by third-party online, Epic says.

The first-ever Fortnite World Cup took place last year on July in New York City. The event had a prize pool of $30 million, and 16-year-old pro gamer Bugha ( Kyle Giersdorf) won the series and claiming $3 million in prize money.
