Game Developers Conference Summer Date Announced

Because of Corona outbreak, many events were cancelled or moved to closed-door online events. Game Developers Conference which was about to take place from 16-20th March got postponed. The event is now rebranded as GDC Summer and scheduled to take place from 4 to 6th August.

GDC made an official announcement that the event would be split between presentations, interviews, and a two-day show floor, set at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The shoe floor will be accessible from 5-6th August. Very few details of GDC Summer are available now, and the registration is yet to open.

Most of the gamers and big companies were looking forward to this event in March while huge companies like Sony and Microsoft backed-off because of Corona.

So GDC postponed the event,said – “As everyone has been reminding us, great things happen when the community comes together and connects at GDC. For this reason, we fully intend to host a GDC event later in the summer. We will be working with our partners to finalize the details and will share more information about our plans in the coming weeks.”

But the good news GDC summer is finally here now.
