GTA 6 might take place in Modern Vice City

GTA 6 has become the ultimate dream of GTA fans. Seven years after the release of GTA 5, fans have been desperately anticipating an official announcement about the next sixth instalment in the GTA franchise from Rockstar Games.

And, It’s been three years since the Rockstar Studio’s previous project Red Dead Redemption 2. Now, Fans are growing impatient as the days pass by. However, there has been no official word from Rockstar game studio yet.

With no indication of GTA 6 from Rockstar, fans are blurting out questions to popular leakers on platforms like Twitter and Reddit. 

Moreover, there are plenty of theories & rumours surrounding GTA 6. For an instance, one of the theories suggested the game might be set up in the 1980s. It had been a popular one over the Internet but it was debunked later.

GTA 6 might take place in Modern Vice City

Tom Henderson, a famous leaker and a reliable source responsible for leaking accurate details about Call of Duty and Battlefield. He reveal GTA 6 is set in modern and not in the 1980s.

One of the major reason this rumour make sense is, other instalments in the franchise like GTA V and GTA Online make use of modern-day technologies. Hence, moving back to the old days means abandoning all the modern sources that is equal to extra work for developers.

GTA games are popularly for revolving around fake cities since inception, like Liberty City (New York), Los Santos (Los Angeles) and Vice City (Miami). Among these, Liberty City has made the most appearances in the series. Players can most likely expect the next sixth GTA game in the series to take place around Modern Vice City.
