Gameplay
You have 8 hours. The game takes place in real-time, and from your nighttime start on the outskirts of Clan Kata village until dawn 8 hours later, you must find and unravel the clues that will lead to the discovery of the true killer responsible. . You can choose to play in full stealth mode or mix in the action combat when you want. But beware, death has consequences. Dying speeds up time while your soul rises, so choose your battles carefully – and make sure you win.
Detective Shinobi
The entire game takes place in one complex, multi-level level of vertical and horizontal scrolling. You will have to explore the outdoor and indoor areas to find clues. Use your Shinobi Sense to find areas of interest and then explore them to uncover the truths you need. Collect the items you find in the village, craft the items you need, and pay attention to noises and events throughout the night as you head towards the inevitable conclusion – or demise.
