Mojang announce about the cancellation of this year’s Minecraft festival because of Corona Virus. We all know about Minecon, an annual online event for Minecraft, though officials have planned Minecraft Festival this year that recently got cancelled.
They planned festival with tickets ready to go on sale on Friday. Festival was about to take place in September but looking at the current situation, it will take a long time to clear out virus.
Mojang shared an official blog post on their website wrote; “Our partners, producers, and exhibitors are based in all corners of the world, and right now we can’t meet and collaborate in the way we need to. Without knowing exactly when we can resume planning, we have decided to postpone.”
However, Mojang’s planning to proceed with Minecraft Live event which haven’t cancelled yet.
Mojang’s, ‘Minecraft’ is a famous block building, open-world action adventure game. The game unexpectedly rose to heights and is one of the best-selling games of a decade. This sandbox game is widely popular over the globe. Minecraft became the most watched game on YouTube with 100.2 B views last year.
