PUBG Mobile May Return Soon in India

Tencent’s enormously popular video game PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite got banned in India due to border dispute between India and China. PUBG Mobile along with 118 Chinese apps was crushed in between the conflicts of India and China. 

Two months have passed since the ban of PUBG Mobile in India. And, fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement of PUBG Mobile Unban. However, no intel has been revealed yet about the unban of game. But, PUBG Corporation is making every effort to revive PUBG mobile in India.

Ban of PUBG Mobile in India

On 2nd September, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India banned 118 Chinese applications in India as they pose a threat to the national security and privacy of the citizens of India. PUBG mobile is banned by the Indian Government under the section 69A of the Information Technology Act “they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order”.

The unexpected downfall of PUBG Mobile in India due to Chinese provocation in Ladakh has led to a loss of $221 million in August to $198 million in September. The figure is quite big and if the unban continues the numbers will keep increasing.

PUBG Mobile May Return Soon

PUBG Corporation is working to relaunch the game back in India. South Korean company even revoked the publishing rights of the Chinese giants Tencent, in the hope that the Indian government may welcome the popular title back again. PUBG corp said:

“It hopes to work hand-in-hand with the Indian government to find a solution that will allow gamers to once again drop into the battlegrounds while being fully compliant with Indian laws and regulations.”

Recently, PUBG corporation shared a job profile in search of Corporate Development Division Manager in India. The job application from the company could be a sign of the return of PUBG Mobile in India Soon. Until Then Stay Tuned.
