Why Server Busy Error in PUBG Mobile

On 2nd September 2020, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India banned PUBG Mobile along with 118 Chinese apps in India as they pose a threat to the national security and privacy of the citizens of India. 

The popular Battle-royale title was crushed in no time between the conflicts of India and China.

However, the game servers were still active in Indian, and players who have PUBG mobile pre-installed in their devices were able to access and play PUBG Mobile. 

The company has finally shut down all access and servers in India from 30th October 2020. And, the players are trying to access the game now receives following error that read as – “Server is busy, please try again later. Error code: restrict-area”.

PUBG Mobile has terminated all game servers for Indian players and the game is no more playable in India. However, there are many players who are still looking for solutions to continue playing the game in India. Sadly, all services in the Indian region has been officially shut in accordance with the orders of the Indian government. 

So, If you are hoping to continue playing PUBG mobile in India, you can’t anymore. Still, there are many battle-royale games available to play on Android and iOS devices which can be a good alternative to PUBG Mobile.

The game has been completely shut and you cannot even access the official websites of PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile lite.

PUBG Corporation promises to work with the Indian government to find a solution and eliminate all the causes of banning PUBG Mobile. South Korea’s Bluehole is looking into whole ban issue and might take over PUBG Mobile India soon which may result in Unban of Game. However, there’s no confirmation whether PUBG mobile will return back in India or not. Stay Tuned until then.
